which strengthen community partnerships for the salsa
dance commmunity including fundraisers for The KidSafe
Project Society, such as Salsa
For The Kids and Salsa
Prom.
SalsaVancouver.net

and articles related to
salsa, Latin music and dancing - with significant
contributions from members of Vancouver's salsa dance
community, including writers Laureano Ralon Facchina,
Tasleem Rajwani, Nikisha Moise, and others.

SalsaVancouver.net
directly reaches Vancouver's salsa dancers and website
traffic grows monthly, averaging between 12,000 to 27,000
visits monthly - 90% of whom are from Vancouver. Regular
site visitors include people in Vancouver's salsa dance
community looking to keep informed of the latest news
and events, as well as people new to salsa dancing searching
online for information on salsa lessons and events in
Vancouver. The site also attracts considerable interest
from out-of-town and international visitors looking for
information on salsa dancing in Vancouver.
SalsaVancouver.net is an independent
and impartial web site about Vancouver's salsa dance scene.
It is not affiliated with any event organizer, promoter
or dance instructor. Our aim is to provide positive, inclusive
support for everyone in Vancouver's Latin music and dance
community. We try to provide the most current and up-to-date
coverage and information on events, performances, dance
classes and workshops - for people new to Latin music
and dance, for out-of-town visitors, and for local salsa
dance addicts (You know who you are! And yes we mean YOU!)
The more we all support Latin
music and dance in Vancouver - all the events, the bands,
the djs, and dance instructors - then the stronger our
Latin music and dance scene will be and the stronger Vancouver's
reputation will be as a world-class salsa city. Every
effort has been taken to ensure the information presented
here is accurate and current but if there are any inaccuracies
or omissions, if you'd like to let us know about events
or classes you're running, or if you have any comments,
ideas, suggestions about the site, please email
us.
Que viva la musica!
