We're planning something a little different for our One Year Anniversary Party at the Dancey Ballroom this Friday, January 27... a fun salsa version of the popular kids game Musical Chairs!

Hosted by the official Musical Chairs Game Masters Patrick & Scarlet of Dance Vancouver. This is not a contest to see who the best dancer is. It is a fun activity for dancers of any level from beginners to advanced to play a very simple children's game, most likely resulting in humourous mayhem and chaos.

The last couple remaining at the end of the game will each win a free pass to the Salsamania workshops on Saturday Feb 4 and free admission to that evening's special Salsa party.

THE RULES are simple:

1. The game is open to dancers of any level from beginner to advanced (excluding instructors). Musical Chairs is not a difficult game and being a good dancer doesn't mean you'll win!

2. You do not need a partner to join as you will be assigned a random dance partner Jack & Jill style.

3. Contestants must pre-register on Friday and spots will be limited to the first 10 men and 10 women. Register with Stephen or Jennifer at the Dj booth by 10:30pm on Friday to receive instructions* on how to play.

* Instructions? Yes there's more to this version of musical chairs than the simple kids game...
